Completion of the DRG system update for 2023

The CKS has also completed the preparation of the second phase of the upgrade of the SK-DRG-2022 system to the SK-DRG-2023 system.

To date (30.11.2022) the following documents have been issued with effect from 1.1.2023:

The CKS publishes the First Slovak Relative Weights and the associated Basic Rates. The Relative Weights have been calculated from inpatient provider data from 2021. These recalculated Relative Weights, together with the recalculated treatment time thresholds and Base Rates, are intended primarily for testing and analytical purposes.

We would also like to inform you that we are making the CKS DRG portal available for validation and submission of annual benefits as of 1.1.2023.

Benefit submission is allowed for user accounts you have used in the past year. To create a new access or resolve an issue with an existing access, please contact us at: cksdrg@health.gov.sk

The deadline for filing the regular or corrected valid annual benefit for 2022 is 30.4.2023 under the current legislation
